heritage radio network

I was invited to do an interview on "The Food Seen" for Heritage Radio Network which aired on January 17th.  It was so much fun!  The interview took place at Roberta's pizza in Brooklyn where the radio station has a recording studio in the back of the restaurant.  During the interview I looked out onto the dining room where people were eating their pizza!  I got to talk about my childhood, my time as a magazine editor,  why I decided to open a prop house, and what inspires me to make my ceramics, among other things!  After the interview I joined my husband at the bar where we were treated to a delicious pizza. The host of "The Food Seen", Michael Harlan Turkell, is a very talented food photographer and, until recently, was the photo editor of Edible Brooklyn and Edible Manhattan magazines. You can still hear my interview thru the archives on HeritageRadioNetwork.com. Some other great interviews by Michael, that you can access thru "The Food Seen" archives, include Paul Lowe of Sweet Paul Magazine, Ditte Isager the photographer behind the NOMA cookbook, Lotta Jansdotter,  and Jessica Romm Perez and Fredrika Stjarne, who are both editors at Food&Wine Magazine.
